This chassis is not currently supplied to Kazakhstan. Hino is not imported into the country, so we cannot repeat this project on that chassis. We fit the same body to chassis that are available — we will pick an equivalent for your load.

A refrigerated body in premium trim: glass-reinforced plastic inside and out. That is one continuous smooth surface with no seams or rivets — it takes a pressure wash, brine does not rust it and it does not hold smells. Lashing rails run along both walls inside: cargo is strapped at any height, not just at floor level, so pallets stop wandering on a half-empty run. An Elinge C4 unit over the cab holds the cold and costs no load volume. A 5,200 mm body on a Japanese HINO 300 delivery chassis.

How this body is built

The body is built on a HINO 300, the 300 series chassis.

Body type — refrigerated body, sandwich panel. That leaves 4,992 × 1,992 × 1,992 mm, 100 mm panel inside: the panel thickness is subtracted on every side, floor and ceiling included. Usable volume is 19.8 m³, counted from the internal dimensions rather than by multiplying the external ones. In a single tier that is 8 europallets.

The floor is chequered aluminium. Doors: hinged rear, cam-bar locks.

The refrigeration unit is Elinge C4, over-cab.

Why it is built this way

Ribbed aluminium flooring is chosen where cargo moves on trolleys: the sheet takes no moisture, hoses down and does not delaminate under wheels. It is heavier than plywood but outlasts it severalfold.

Who it suits

A body with a refrigeration unit carries anything perishable: meat and fish, dairy, ready meals, flowers, medicines. The unit holds the set temperature while parked too, so the truck also suits distribution runs with long stops. Usable volume here is 19.8 m³ — the block below estimates the load in pallets.

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

FAQ

FAQ about the HINO 300 reefer with an FRP skin

One continuous smooth surface with no seams or rivets. It takes a pressure wash, brine does not eat it and it does not hold smells — which matters when the same body carries fish one day and dairy the next. Galvanised sheet is cheaper, but it has seams, and in time those become where dirt collects.

Floor lashing only holds the bottom row. The rail runs along the walls at height, so a strap can go over a pallet or secure the upper tier of boxes. On a half-empty run that is the only way to stop the load from wandering.

Up there it costs no load volume: the condenser sits on the front wall above the cab, the evaporator goes under the ceiling inside. There is nowhere to put an underslung unit on a delivery truck — under the frame it is crowded with the tank, batteries and spare wheel.

Yes — that is what it is built for. Walls and ceiling are FRP, the floor is treadplate aluminium, the joints are sealed. Water drains through plugs in the floor. That is exactly why this body is chosen for meat and fish, where washing after every run is mandatory.

Yes. The HINO 300 exceeds 3,500 kg gross, which is category C. We build category-B reefers on light chassis — they are collected in the “Vehicles” section.
