A three-chamber profile: it seals along three lines of contact instead of one and stays elastic longer. A single-chamber one is cheaper but wears out noticeably faster on a refrigerated body.
It is rubber on a U-shaped profile: the profile slips over the edge of the door or the opening and holds its shape, while the rubber part does the sealing. Such items are listed with the width of the profile — 20 mm and up.
By indirect signs: the body stops holding temperature although the unit is working, the seal shows cracks and compression marks, and in winter frost forms around the door.
