FAQ

Carrier prices include fitting. Kaida is the price of the unit itself: fitting, engine bracket, conversion paperwork, oil and refrigerant are paid separately. Elinge prices are for reference; the “Heat” version with heating costs more than the base one.

By body volume and duty: for freezing at −18…−20 °C take a unit with a cooling-capacity margin; for chilling at 0…+6 °C a model one class smaller will do. The tables give the volume at −20 °C — for chilling it is larger.

Yes, if the body is insulated and airtight: 50–100 mm panel, three-chamber door seal. On an uninsulated body the unit will not reach its duty and the unit warranty does not apply. The design change is documented.
