Scope of work

What we repair

🚪

Van door repair

Geometry restoration, replacement of hinges, locks and hardware. Doors close tight again, without sagging.

Repair spare parts — from our catalogue: body components and hardware (locks, hinges, seals, buffers).

📏

Door seal replacement

A worn seal lets in air and moisture, and the refrigerated body loses cold. A three-chamber profile is fitted.

🪵

Floor repair

Replacing swollen plywood and restoring the load deck. Optionally — chequered aluminium that is not afraid of moisture.

Roof sealing

Fixing leaks at panel joints, seams and fasteners. The body is dry again in rain, snow and at the wash.

🧱

Cladding repair

Restoring outer and inner cladding after impacts and pallet-loading wear.

🔧

Sandwich panel repair

Replacement of delaminated and damaged panels. The panels are made in-house, so the strength and the seal of the body are fully restored.

A case from practice

Rusting outer door cladding

The usual picture on steel doors: the skin rusts along the edges and around the hardware, and the door loses both its seal and its appearance. That is why doors on COND bodies are made of FRP — it does not corrode at all.

Symptom, cause, work

The same symptom means different things on an insulated body and on a refrigerated one, so the scope of work is set by inspection, not by the name of the fault.

FAQ

FAQ about body repair

The cost is set by the scope of work: replacing a seal, repairing a floor and replacing a sandwich panel differ several times over. A photograph of the damage gives a price guide before the vehicle arrives; the exact figure comes after inspection.
Yes, if the body itself is damaged. Damaged panels are replaced, the geometry of the door opening is restored and the seal of the envelope is checked after reassembly. The scope of work is set by inspection.
Yes. The swollen plywood is removed, the load-bearing part of the decking is restored and new decking is laid on top. Ribbed aluminium can be fitted instead of plywood — it does not absorb moisture and does not rot.
Usually the problem is not the unit but the envelope: a worn seal around the doors or wet insulation inside the panel. The refrigeration unit is working, but it cannot keep up with the heat coming in.
Yes, all types of truck bodies on any chassis are repaired. Panels, profile and hardware are made in-house, so sourcing parts does not depend on who built the body.
The time depends on the work: replacing a seal or repairing hardware is quicker than replacing panels or floor decking. The panels do not wait for delivery — they are made in-house.

About body repair

Repairing an insulated box body

“Termobudka” is the everyday name for an isothermal or refrigerated body. The repair is the same for both: the damaged section of panel is opened up, the soaked insulation is replaced, new lining is fitted and the seal of the envelope is restored.

Wet insulation is the main reason an insulated body stops holding temperature while the refrigeration unit is in good order: water displaces the air in the cells and the panel starts conducting heat. A patch over such a section will not restore the temperature — the panel has to be opened.

What comes in for repair most often

The rear frame after a loading dock: broken corners, sagging doors, a torn seal. A side panel after gates and posts. A floor pressed through by pallets. Skin delaminating along the bottom edge, where the panel is permanently wet.

Send a photo of the damage on WhatsApp and we will give you the scope of work before the vehicle arrives: it is usually clear at once whether a panel insert will do or a whole section has to be replaced.
