Mobile workshop van (PARM)

A workshop on wheels: workbenches, racking, autonomous power and heating. The repair crew works wherever the machinery broke down — on the highway, a construction site or an oil field.

Quote is based on body, chassis and temperature range.

In detail

Workshop equipment

🧰

Workbenches and racking

Steel workbenches and racking for tools and spares, with everything secured for the road.

🔌

Autonomous power

A generator, 220 V sockets and work-area lighting — the workshop does not depend on an external grid.

🔥

Heating

An autonomous heater — work in winter at any sub-zero temperature.

💡

Light and ventilation

Bright lighting of the work zones and extraction for welding and painting jobs.

🪜

Ergonomics

Loading height to suit the job, steps, handrails, anti-slip floor.

⚙️

Special equipment

Welding stations, compressors, machine tools — the fit-out is assembled around the tasks of the service.

Configuration

What changes in the body according to the crew’s task

A mobile repair unit, a mobile workshop, a service van — different names for the same body. Such vehicles differ not by name but by fit-out, and the fit-out follows the work the crew does on site.

The crew’s taskWhat determines the body
Welding worka welding station, extraction over the work area, non-combustible finish around the station, spare generator capacity
Fitting and repair worksteel benches, tool racking that holds the load in motion, lighting above the work area
Mobile tyre fittinga compressor, a loading height suited to a wheel, a non-slip floor, a wide opening and steps
Winter work and work at a field sitean independent heater, an insulated body, and 220 V power without an external supply
Work far from basea stock of spares on the racking, and a chassis with the off-road ability and payload required

The body of a mobile workshop is built on the same frame and panels as the standard vans, so it is insulated and holds its internal temperature: in winter the heater does not work in vain, and in summer the work area does not overheat.

FAQ

FAQ about service bodies

A mobile repair unit is a body equipped to repair machinery on site. The same vehicles are called mobile workshops or service vans: there is no difference in construction, only in the fit-out for the particular work.
On JAC, GAZ, KamAZ, Hino and others. The choice follows two parameters: off-road ability at the work site and payload for the weight of the equipment, tools and stock of spares.
If the work is away from mains power, yes. A generator with 220 V sockets makes the workshop independent of an external supply; its output decides whether welding can run at the same time as the lighting and extraction.
Yes, an independent heater is fitted for that. The body is insulated — the frame and panels are the same as in the standard vans, so the heater warms the work area rather than the street.
The cost is made up of the chassis, the size of the body and the fit-out. A workshop with racking and benches and one with a welding station, compressor and generator differ several times over, so the calculation follows the list of work the crew does.
By purpose. A mobile workshop carries tools and equipment for repairs on site, a crew bus carries people to the work. The bodies differ: the workshop has benches and racking, the bus has seats, cabin heating and emergency exits.
