Lashing rings and lashing rails

Cargo is held not by the straps but by the points the straps hook onto. A recessed ring passes the load into an insert in the subframe; a surface-mounted one is fitted to a finished side. A lashing rail gives a continuous line of anchor points along the body.

A recessed ring sits in a prepared opening and bears on an insert in the subframe, so the load goes into the structure. A surface-mounted one is fixed to a finished side panel and is fitted once the body is built.
A profile along the wall of the body with a continuous slot: a fitting with a hook or ring can be moved anywhere along it, so the anchor point does not have to be decided in advance.
It follows the cargo, not the length: what matters is that every pallet or crate is held by at least two straps pulling in different directions.
