An oval recessed ring with a 115 × 70 mm elongated cup. The shackle lies along it rather than across, so even when raised the ring does not stand above the floor or catch a pallet.
The elongated shape gives the shackle more travel fore and aft: the strap pulls at an angle and the ring turns with it instead of working in bending.
