The codes follow the Elinge passport and operating manual. The same code means different things on different control blocks, so the tables are split: first identify the block, then read the code.
The reason for splitting: Pr2 on the Л-01 and Л-02 block is a blown power fuse, while on the EVK-213 block it is an evaporator temperature sensor alarm. The component to check differs.
| Code | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ALB | no link between the power block and the display: the harness is broken or the control board on the condenser has failed |
| OBC | open circuit in the condenser fan |
| ErC | short circuit in the condenser fan |
| OBI | open circuit in the evaporator fan |
| ErI | short circuit in the evaporator fan |
| CPE | short circuit in the compressor circuit; also appears when the on-board voltage is low |
| CPO | open circuit in the compressor |
| ECL / OCL | short or open circuit in the defrost valve |
| ECC / OCC | short or open circuit in the shut-off valve |
| DtE | open or short circuit in the body or evaporator temperature sensor |
| tIE / tIO | short or open circuit in the evaporator temperature sensor |
| AdE | refrigerant pressure alarm on the first sensor, high-pressure side |
| Ad2 | refrigerant pressure alarm on the second sensor, low-pressure side; normal range 1–29 bar |
| Pr1 | power fuse 1 has blown |
| Pr2 | power fuse 2 has blown |
| BLC | the condenser fan is jammed by a foreign object |
| BLI | the evaporator fan is jammed by a foreign object |
| Code | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pr1 | body temperature sensor alarm: open, short, or the wrong probe type is set |
| Pr2 | evaporator temperature sensor alarm: open, short, or the wrong probe type |
| Ld | refrigerant pressure is critically low or high; the signal repeats every four seconds |
| LOC | the keypad lock is on; hold SET for three seconds to release |
Besides the codes, the block sounds an alarm when the body temperature leaves the −55…+99 °C range.
A compressor error below −20 °C: the manufacturer prescribes warming the vehicle in a heated bay and leaving the unit running after departure. On a 12 V system the voltage is checked — it must stay above 11 V, as a voltage drop triggers a compressor circuit error. If the code persists after warming and a voltage check, diagnostics are needed.
Designations such as А01, А04 and А22 do not belong to Elinge: the factory documentation uses letter codes. They come from units of another make, and decoding them from a third-party table would be wrong. Quoting the code from the display is enough when you call.
Because the control blocks differ. On Л-01 and Л-02 Pr2 is a blown power fuse; on EVK-213 it is an evaporator sensor alarm.
Some causes can: warming the vehicle in frost, checking that the on-board voltage stays above 11 V, removing a foreign object from a fan. The rest needs diagnostics.
Not yet: Carrier manuals are not published openly, and decoding codes from third-party tables is not acceptable. The section will appear once there is an official source.
