Belt tension is checked at every SO-1; the belt and pulley are replaced at every SO-3. The design service life per the passport is 5 years. For Carrier — per the manufacturer’s schedule.
After the first 80 hours of operation and then every 500 hours, the mode indicators on the Elinge panel flash, and with the unit switched off the display shows “SOS”. This is not a fault but a scheduled maintenance reminder.
Unit repair records contain 85 entries with engine hours at the time of the call: up to 500 hours — 42, 500–1,500 — 38, over 1,500 — 5. The median is 518 hours, the edge of the first 500-hour service interval. A maintenance contract turns these visits from breakdowns into planned ones.
The scope and intervals are agreed for the fleet and its duty cycle. For a fleet of five vehicles or more the call-out is free; in special cases — the vehicle cannot be driven or the body cannot be taken off the route — the call-out is charged.
The contract price depends on the number of vehicles, unit models and intervals and is quoted on request.
