FAW T80 (factory index 1027, popularly known as the “FAW T80”) is a compact urban delivery vehicle. A GVW of 2,005 kg means a category B licence and free access where lorries are not allowed. What licence do you need for the FAW 1027?

Category B is enough: the gross weight is 2,005 kg. This makes it easier to find a driver and allows entry into zones closed to trucks.

What is the T80's payload?

Up to 800 kg on the chassis. The body weight is deducted from this, so we keep the body light — sandwich panels with extruded polystyrene foam.

Can a refrigeration unit be fitted?

Yes. We build refrigerated bodies with cooling units down to −20 °C — such COND vehicles work as delivery reefers and cake vans. Van body volume is from 6 m³.

How does the T80 differ from the FAW Tiger?

The T80 is a compact delivery vehicle: 2,005 kg gross weight, 1.5 L petrol, category B. The Tiger is an N2-category truck: 4,495 kg, 2.3 L diesel, rear dual wheels and category C.

Is the chassis warranty retained?

Yes. We fit the body to the manufacturer's procedure and issue the paperwork required to register the design change.
