A drop-side with tilt is an enclosed superstructure of a frame covered with waterproof PVC fabric. It protects cargo from precipitation but not from temperature swings. Its main advantage is side loading by opening the tilt: the tarpaulin comes off the side and cargo is loaded by forklift or crane.
The base is a flatbed platform with quick-release galvanised steel or aluminium sides 400/600/800 mm high, to which the tilt frame is attached.
For intercity hauliers, distributors with palletised logistics, and companies loading by crane or side forklift.
