The most versatile body on a medium-duty truck: flatbed with drop sides on three sides. A forklift comes in from any side, and long loads go on from the flank instead of being pushed over the tailboard. The deck is laminated plywood, the sides sit in an aluminium frame, and the lashing rings are recessed flush so they do not catch the load. Over the cab there is a headache rack: it takes the load if the driver brakes harder than planned.
The JAC N75, N80 and N90 share one platform; only the permitted gross weight grows. Full specifications are on the page JAC N90 chassis. The refrigerated version on the same chassis is the reefer on a JAC N80.

Because side loading saves more time than the option itself costs. With drop sides a forklift comes in from any side, and long loads — pipes, profile, boards — go on from the flank instead of being pushed over the tailboard. At a warehouse with no dock that is the difference between ten minutes and half an hour by hand.
Laminated plywood is lighter than steel, does not rattle and does not rust, and a loaded pallet slides over it more easily than over chequer plate. The laminate does not absorb water, so the plywood does not swell in the rain. If the platform is for tracked machinery, we discuss a steel deck separately.
It takes the load when you brake hard. Without it a bundle of profile or a pallet moves forward in an emergency stop — into the back of the cab. On a flatbed, where nothing encloses the load, that is not an option but basic safety.

Yes, a tarpaulin frame goes on the same platform: the sides stay droppable, and posts, bows and a tarpaulin are added on top. The result is curtain-side — the load is covered from rain and dust, but side loading is retained.
Noticeably less: a flatbed has no panels, no refrigeration unit and no subframe for them. On the same chassis more capacity is left for the cargo than with any enclosed body — which is why construction and supply firms choose the flatbed.
