A 5.2 m flatbed on the JAC N56 — the most versatile body for this chassis. Galvanised sides drop on three sides: a forklift can come from any of them and long loads go in from the side rather than the rear. It is bought by construction and supply firms, furniture makers, building-material sellers and anyone whose cargo will not fit in a closed van.

More about the design on the page flatbed platforms.
A JAC N56 flatbed platform is an all-rounder: pallets today, pipes tomorrow, crated furniture the day after. The chassis payload is 3,445 kg, and a platform weighs considerably less than a refrigerated body, so more usable load remains than with any van on the same chassis.
A 2.7-litre HFC4DE1-1D diesel with 150 hp and 355 N·m from 1,800 rpm, six-speed manual, 3,360 mm wheelbase, 5,600 kg gross weight, category C. The 5,200 mm deck takes six Euro pallets in a single row, or a long load up to five metres kept within the outline.
Sides galvanised, folding on three sides — left, right and rear. Height to choose: 400, 600 or 800 mm. Aluminium instead of steel saves tens of kilograms on each board and does not rust from road salt. The deck is flat along its whole length with no protruding ribs: a pallet slides across it without catching, and cargo can be lashed anywhere.
A reinforced headboard with a viewing window — the load is visible through the cab. Aluminium side guards to safety requirements close off the space under the platform. On request: stanchions for pipe and profile, lashing rings and rails, and a tarpaulin with a frame — which turns the flatbed into a curtain-side. We make all the hardware ourselves and sell it separately — see components.
