Flatbed platform on a JAC N120 chassis

category Cgalvanised boardsboards folding down on three sides
⚖ payload 7,690 kg↔ deck 7,500 mm

A 7.5 m flatbed on the seven-tonne JAC N120 — the most usable length and payload without moving to a three-axle truck. The chassis payload is 7,690 kg and the deck is 7,500 mm, the most usable length on two axles. Galvanised sides drop on three sides — a forklift can come from any of them and long loads go in from the side. It is bought by construction and supply firms, metal depots and sellers of sections and pipe.

Who a JAC N120 flatbed suits

A JAC N120 flatbed platform — the base vehicle for supply work: a payload of 7,690 kg and a 7.5-metre deck. The Cummins ISF3.8S5168 delivers 592 N·m from as low as 1,300 rpm, with air brakes and ABS and a 210-litre tank. The vehicle runs confidently on the highway with a full platform and does not require a three-axle chassis.

A platform weighs considerably less than a closed body, so more usable load remains than with any van on the same chassis. Eight Euro pallets in a single row, long loads up to six metres kept within the outline, machinery and oversized items that simply will not go into a van.

Boards and deck

Sides galvanised, folding on three sides — left, right and rear. Height to choose: 400, 600 or 800 mm. Aluminium instead of steel saves tens of kilograms on each board and does not rust from road salt. The board latches are reinforced and lock in the open position, so a board does not swing back against the paint during loading.

The deck is flat along its whole length with no protruding ribs: a pallet slides across it without catching and cargo can be lashed anywhere. A reinforced headboard with a viewing window means the load is visible through the cab.

What else we fit to a flatbed

Aluminium side guards to safety requirements close off the space under the platform. On request: stanchions for pipe and profile, lashing rings and rails, a tail lift, and a tarpaulin with a frame — which turns the flatbed into a a curtain-side. We make all the hardware ourselves and sell it separately — see components.

How this body is built

The vehicle is built on a JAC N120 chassis with a 4,700 mm, mounting length 6,200 mm wheelbase. The engine is Cummins ISF3.8S5168 diesel, Common Rail + SCR, Euro 5, 166 hp (122 kW). Gross weight 11,980 kg, so the driver needs a category C licence.

The floor is flat along the whole length, no protrusions.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: Iveco Daily 70C15, Shineray T30. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.

FAQ

FAQ about the JAC N120 flatbed platform

We price it to the configuration: board material and height, deck length, stanchions, lashing rails, side guards, tail lift, tarpaulin with frame. Leave a request or write on WhatsApp and we will send the figures. COND does not publish body prices.
The chassis payload is 7,690 kg at a gross weight of 11,980 kg. A platform is lighter than a closed body, so more usable load remains than with a van on the same chassis: eight Euro pallets in a single row or a long load up to six metres.
The frame mounting length is 6,200 mm, so the deck fits the full length with no overhang. That is the maximum usable length for a two-axle chassis: beyond it you are into a three-axle truck with its own servicing and tyre costs.
Aluminium is lighter: tens of kilograms less per board, which means more usable load, and it does not rust from road salt. Steel is cheaper and more tolerant of a knock from a bucket or rebar, so construction firms take it. We build both.
Standard heights are 400, 600 or 800 mm. 400 for pallets and machinery, 600 as an all-rounder, 800 for bulk and bulky light loads. You choose the height when ordering.
Yes, the N120 takes both. A crane uses up part of the payload — we account for that in the calculation. A tail lift is what you need when the stops have no dock or forklift.
A reinforced headboard with a viewing window, a flat deck with no protrusions and aluminium side guards to safety requirements. On request: stanchions for pipe and profile, plus lashing rings and rails.
From 14 working days. Steelwork and assembly happen in our own shop in Almaty. COND is a plant with its own manufacturer WMI code, so we issue the full set of conversion documents and the entry in the vehicle passport.
