A refrigerated van on the Iveco Daily 70C15 chassis. The body is 6.2 m long and 2.4 m wide — a europallet fits across. A Thermo King V-600 MAX unit sits above the cab. At the rear are hinged doors and a Dhollandia tail lift with a 1,000 kg capacity.

New Iveco Daily are not currently supplied to Kazakhstan, so we do not build a turnkey truck on this marque. If you already own an Iveco, we will fit the body and the refrigeration unit to it; our other chassis are in the “Vehicles” section.

How this body is built

The project is based on a Iveco Daily 70C15 (the cab badge reads 70-150) chassis.

Body type — refrigerated body, sandwich panel, external dimensions 6,200 × 2,400 × 2,400 mm. That leaves 5,992 × 2,192 × 2,192 mm, 100 mm panel inside: the panel thickness is subtracted on every side, floor and ceiling included. Usable volume is 28.8 m³, counted from the internal dimensions rather than by multiplying the external ones. In a single tier that is 11 europallets.

Doors: hinged rear.

The refrigeration unit is Thermo King V-600 MAX, mounted above the cab. Fitted equipment: side underrun protection, contour marking tape, rear bar.

Who it suits

A body with a refrigeration unit carries anything perishable: meat and fish, dairy, ready meals, flowers, medicines. The unit holds the set temperature while parked too, so the truck also suits distribution runs with long stops. Usable volume here is 28.8 m³ — the block above estimates the load in pallets.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: Chevrolet Labo, DongFeng C31, FAW 1027, GAZelle Business 3302. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.

How many pallets fit

A standard 1,200 × 800 mm europallet, single tier, no restacking. Internal dimensions with a 50 mm laying allowance — a pallet will not go in dead tight.

Frequently asked questions about the Thermo King reefer on an Iveco Daily

The body yes, the chassis no. New Iveco Daily are not currently supplied to Kazakhstan. If you already own an Iveco we will fit the body and the unit to it. If the chassis is still to be bought, look at our projects on JAC, Hino or GAZon — the body transfers across one for one.

That is the width the Daily chassis allows. A euro pallet will not fit across it, but the truck stays narrow in city traffic and in courtyards. If you need 2.5 m for two pallets across, a bigger chassis is the answer.

Elinge — a monoblock, engine-driven refrigeration unit: the condenser over the cab, the evaporator under the body roof. The range and its temperature limits are on the Elinge page.

Category C: the Daily 70C15 has a 7-tonne gross weight, above the 3,500 kg threshold. If your drivers only hold category B, look at our light-chassis trucks.

Yes, if the chassis has a suitable wheelbase and weight headroom. Body length is calculated for the specific chassis: on a short wheelbase a body this long overloads the rear axle.

It depends on the queue at the plant and on the specification. The body is built in Almaty, and we issue the full conversion paperwork and the entry in the vehicle passport — COND has its own manufacturer code.
