A compact reefer in licence category B. The DongFeng C31 is a Chinese light truck with a cab-over-engine layout: any driver with an ordinary licence can take the wheel, it turns around in a courtyard and parks at a doorway. A 3.2-metre body 1.8 metres high gives about 7.7 cubic metres — enough for courier delivery, pharmacies, coffee shops and small wholesale, where a GAZelle is more space than you need but the cold has to be real.

More about the design on the page refrigerated vans.
This is a compact city reefer: a 3.2-metre body, licence category B, turns around in a courtyard. It is bought for courier delivery, pharmacies, coffee shops and small wholesale — when the load has to stay cold, the volumes are modest and the route consists of dozens of stops.
Payload in this class is modest, and the weight of the refrigerated body has already been taken out of it: if you carry pallets, look at a GAZelle or a Kia Bongo. If the load is boxes and crates, the C31 does the job and saves on fuel and parking.
Fitted here is Carrier Citimax 280 is roof-mounted above the cab — the condenser sits over the cab, the evaporator under the ceiling, and usable volume is not lost. The Citimax 280 is the entry model of the line, designed precisely for bodies up to 10 m³. On the same chassis we also fit Elinge and Kaida — we choose by budget and temperature mode.
A 100 mm sandwich panel of our own production, frameless — no cold bridges along the ribs. Lining and flooring are chosen to suit the load: galvanised sheet or food-grade plastic on the walls, chequered aluminium or quartz-grit GRP on the floor. The rear doors are swing doors with rod locks; on request we add a side door — on delivery rounds it saves time, so you do not have to walk around the truck and open the whole body for a single box.
