A medium-duty reefer on our most popular chassis. The JAC N56 has a 150 hp diesel and a 3,445 kg payload with a 4,295 mm mounting length: a 4.2 m body sits on the frame with no overhang and no rework. This truck is chosen when a delivery “little one” is already too small and a seven-tonner is too much: retail chains, meat and fish, dairy, confectionery and frozen goods with out-of-town runs.

More about the design on the page refrigerated vans.
A JAC N56 refrigerated van is an everyday workhorse: a 2.7-litre HFC4DE1-1D diesel with Common Rail and SCR delivering 355 N·m from 1,800 rpm — it pulls a full body uphill without strain. Six-speed manual, 3,360 mm wheelbase, 5,600 kg gross weight. Category C: this truck needs a driver with a category C licence.
What matters about a medium-duty reefer: 3,445 kg is the chassis payload, from which the weight of the refrigerated body and unit still has to be deducted. About two and a half tonnes of actual cargo remain — pallet territory, not just boxes. If you need less volume, look at a Kia Bongo or a FAW 1027; if more, at a JAC N90 or N120.
We fit Carrier unit of end-mounted design — the condenser unit is moved to the front wall of the body, above the cab. The range is −20 to +12 °C: suitable for deep freezing, for chilled goods and for pharmaceuticals. COND is the official Carrier dealer in Kazakhstan, and the warranty and servicing are arranged at the factory. On request an Elinge or Kaida is fitted — the choice is made by budget and range.
A 50, 80 or 100 mm sandwich panel of our own production, frameless — with no cold bridges at the ribs. A 4,200 mm body with hinged rear doors and a side door on the right, on the kerb side: on a round with 15–20 stops the order goes out through the side door without opening the whole load space from the rear, so less warm air gets inside. The floor and threshold are chequered galvanised, the rear doors swing back to the sides and lock there, and there is a folding step.

The vehicle is built on a JAC N56 chassis with a 3,360 mm wheelbase. The engine is HFC4DE1-1D diesel, Common Rail + SCR, Euro 5, 150 hp (110 kW). Gross weight 5,600 kg, so the driver needs a category C licence.
This is a refrigerated — a body with a heating/refrigeration unit; externally the body is 4,200 mm (chassis mounting length 4,295 mm).
Doors: rear swing doors + a side door on the right.
The refrigeration unit is Carrier of the Citimax series — model to be confirmed. Operating range: from −20 to +12 °C.
A side door changes distribution logistics: at each stop you open it rather than the whole rear portal — less cold escapes and the truck can park tight against its neighbour.
This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.
We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.
If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: Chevrolet Labo, DongFeng C31, FAW 1027, GAZelle Business 3302. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.
Leave your contact details — we will confirm availability/lead time and quote a price.
