A medium-duty reefer on our most popular chassis. The JAC N56 has a 150 hp diesel and a 3,445 kg payload with a 4,295 mm mounting length: a 4.2 m body sits on the frame with no overhang and no rework. This truck is chosen when a delivery “little one” is already too small and a seven-tonner is too much: retail chains, meat and fish, dairy, confectionery and frozen goods with out-of-town runs.

A JAC N56 refrigerated van is an everyday workhorse: a 2.7-litre HFC4DE1-1D diesel with Common Rail and SCR delivering 355 N·m from 1,800 rpm — it pulls a full body uphill without strain. Six-speed manual, 3,360 mm wheelbase, 5,600 kg gross weight. Category C: this truck needs a driver with a category C licence.
What matters about a medium-duty reefer: 3,445 kg is the chassis payload, from which the weight of the refrigerated body and unit still has to be deducted. About two and a half tonnes of actual cargo remain — pallet territory, not just boxes. If you need less volume, look at a Kia Bongo or a FAW 1027; if more, at a JAC N90 or N120.
We fit a Carrier unit mounted above the cab — it does not eat into the body’s usable volume and does not get in the way of loading. The range runs from −20 to +12 °C: deep-frozen, chilled and pharmaceutical loads alike. COND is the official Carrier dealer in Kazakhstan, so the warranty and servicing are ours too. On request we fit Elinge or Kaida, chosen to match the budget and the temperature range.
A 50–80 mm sandwich panel of our own manufacture, frameless — no thermal bridges along the ribs. A 4,200 mm body with rear swing doors and a side door on the right, on the kerb side: on a round with 15–20 stops the order goes out through the side door without opening the whole load space from the rear, so less warm air gets inside. The floor and threshold are chequered aluminium, the rear doors swing back to the sides and lock there, and there is a folding step.
