Reefer on a GAZelle Business 3302

3,200 mm bodycategory BElinge C2T unitside door
↔ body 3,200 mm11.4 m³⚖ payload 1,500 kg

Two identical vehicles for city distribution. A refrigerated body of 3,200 mm on the short wheelbase — the case where fitting into a courtyard matters more than one extra pallet. The refrigeration unit Elinge C2T sits above the cab in the “Heat” version — it both cools and heats. On the right there is a side door: at a stop the driver unloads from the pavement instead of stepping into the traffic. At the rear there are hinged doors with a folding ladder. Inside the body is lined with galvanised sheet; the floor and the kerb along the bottom of the walls are chequer-plate aluminium. The chassis runs on propane, with the cylinder under the frame.

How this body is built

The body is built on a GAZ-3302 — GAZelle Business, 2,900 mm wheelbase chassis with a 2,900 mm wheelbase. The engine is UMZ A275 petrol (Evotech 2.7), Euro-5. Gross weight 3,500 kg — a category B licence is enough.

This is a refrigerated body, sandwich panel; externally the body is 3,200 × 2,100 × 2,200 mm. That leaves 3,000 × 1,900 × 2,000 mm, 100 mm panel inside: the panel thickness is subtracted on every side, floor and ceiling included. Usable volume is 11.4 m³, counted from the internal dimensions rather than by multiplying the external ones. In a single tier that is 4 europallets.

The interior lining is galvanised sheet. The floor is chequered aluminium. Doors: hinged rear plus a side door on the right, a folding ladder.

The refrigeration unit is Elinge C2T — cooling and heating. Operating range: down to −20 °C.

Why it is built this way

Ribbed aluminium flooring is chosen where cargo moves on trolleys: the sheet takes no moisture, hoses down and does not delaminate under wheels. It is heavier than plywood but outlasts it severalfold.

Walls and ceiling are lined with galvanised sheet — the factory standard for a van body: it shrugs off moisture, takes a pallet-corner knock and is replaced in sections rather than whole panels.

A side door changes distribution logistics: at each stop you open it rather than the whole rear portal — less cold escapes and the truck can park tight against its neighbour.

  • The body side with the side door
  • Rear three-quarter view, the 3,200 mm body

  • The propane cylinder under the frame
  • The evaporator under the body roof

Who it suits

A body with a refrigeration unit carries anything perishable: meat and fish, dairy, ready meals, flowers, medicines. The unit holds the set temperature while parked too, so the truck also suits distribution runs with long stops. Usable volume here is 11.4 m³ — the block above estimates the load in pallets.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: Chevrolet Labo, DongFeng C31, FAW 1027, HINO 300. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.

How many pallets fit

A standard 1,200 × 800 mm europallet, single tier, no restacking. Internal dimensions with a 50 mm laying allowance — a pallet will not go in dead tight.

The layout scheme is on the right: it shows how the rows sit and how much room is left.

FAQ

FAQ about the GAZelle Business 3302 reefer

Because the vehicle is for the city. The GAZelle Business comes in two wheelbases: 2,900 mm for a 3,200 mm body and 3,500 mm for a 4,200 mm one. The short one turns in courtyards and shop car parks where the long one no longer fits. The payload is the same on both — 1,500 kg; only the volume differs. A comparison of the wheelbases is on the page GAZelle Business.
On city rounds the vehicle stands along the kerb. Through the rear doors the driver steps into the traffic; through the side door, straight onto the pavement. Over a shift with 15–20 stops that is both time and safety. The side door also lets you take the box you need without unloading half the body.
Down to −20 °C. The Elinge C2T unit is rated for a body of up to 11 m³ in the sub-zero duty and up to 16 m³ at 0 °C — ample for a three-metre body. The letter “T” marks the “Heat” version: in winter the same unit warms the body so cargo that must not freeze does not.
The walls and roof are galvanised sheet; the floor and the kerb along the bottom of the walls are chequer-plate aluminium. You can see it in the photo with the rear doors open. A body like this hoses down and shrugs off roll cages: in store delivery it is exactly the lower walls and the floor that wear out.
Yes. The Elinge unit is driven by the engine and does not care what fuel that engine burns. The cylinder sits under the frame and takes no space beneath the body. Gas makes the kilometre cheaper, and for rounds covering hundreds of kilometres a week that is a visible line in the budget.
On the GAZelle Business the fuel type is not encoded in the index — unlike the NEXT, where it is the last digit (A21R22 diesel, A21R23 petrol, A21R25 petrol with propane). On the Business the index describes the body and the wheelbase: 3302 is the base chassis at 2,900 mm, 330202 the extended one at 3,500 mm, 33023 «Fermer» the six-seat cab, 2705 the panel van. Our vehicle is a GAZ-3302, factory designation with the «Business» package GAZ-3302-288; the propane LPG system is fitted separately and the red cylinder under the frame can be seen in the first photo.
Yes, the body is a series product. It is fitted to both wheelbases of the GAZelle Business and to the GAZelle Next, with the same specification: a side door, folding steps, galvanised lining, an aluminium floor. The refrigeration unit model is chosen by body volume and range — the whole line-up is on the page Elinge.
The price is made up of the body and the unit. The unit is quoted from the Elinge price list, the body from its configuration: length, panel thickness, doors, interior fit-out. Leave a request or write on WhatsApp and we will send a quote. COND does not publish prices for bodies.
COND is a factory with its own WMI manufacturer code, so we issue the full set of conversion paperwork and the entry in the vehicle passport.
