Refrigerated van on a JAC N35 chassis

category Bend-wall unitdelivery size
⚖ chassis payload 1 900 kg↔ wheelbase 2,640 mm

The most compact reefer in our range. The JAC N35 has a 136 hp diesel, a 3,490 kg gross weight and category B: any driver with an ordinary licence can take the wheel. The refrigeration unit is end-wall mounted above the cab; the body is a sandwich panel of our own manufacture. This is a truck for the dense city: narrow yards, underground car parks, dozens of stops per shift.

Who a JAC N35 reefer suits

A JAC N35 refrigerated van is taken where a seven-tonner simply will not fit: the city centre, courtyards, shopping-centre car parks, narrow approaches to cafés and pharmacies. A 3,490 kg gross weight stays within category B — no separate category C driver is needed, and that often decides it: the truck can go on the route the same day.

The HFC4DB2-1D diesel with Common Rail gives 136 hp and 285 N·m from as low as 2,200 rpm, with a six-speed gearbox. The chassis payload is 1,900 kg: after the body and the unit there is still room for boxed goods — dairy, confectionery, pharmacy, ready meals.

Refrigeration unit

The unit is mounted on the end wall — the condenser sits on the front wall of the body above the cab and the evaporator inside under the ceiling. The compressor is engine-driven. This layout does not eat into body height and does not stop the truck entering height-restricted car parks, while the condenser always faces the airflow — at slow city speeds that matters more than it seems.

The mode is chosen for the load: chilled dairy is one thing, frozen goods another. Both the unit model and the panel thickness follow from it. Tell us what you carry and we will propose a set.

Body

A sandwich panel of our own manufacture, frameless — no thermal bridges along the ribs. The rear swing doors fold back to the sides and lock there, with a seal running round the whole perimeter. Floor and walls are built for wet cleaning and reflective markings run round the body. If you need a side door, a bulkhead or a different length, we build to the job.

FAQ

FAQ about the JAC N35 refrigerated van

Category B: the gross weight is 3,490 kg, below the 3,500 kg threshold. No separate category C driver is needed — the truck can go on the route straight away.
The chassis payload is 1,900 kg. The body with its refrigeration unit takes part of that; the rest is your load — boxed delivery, dairy, confectionery, pharmacy, ready meals.
End-wall mounting: the condenser sits on the front wall of the body above the cab and the evaporator inside under the ceiling. This way the unit does not eat into body height and does not stop the truck entering height-restricted car parks.
The mode is chosen for the load: chilling or freezing. Both the unit model and the sandwich-panel thickness follow from it. Tell us what you carry and we will propose a set.
Size and licence. At 5,157 mm long and in category B it gets into yards, underground car parks and narrow approaches where a seven-tonner simply will not fit. If you carry more, look at the JAC N56 reefer.
Yes. On a delivery round with frequent stops a side door saves time: the order goes out through it without opening the whole load space from the rear, and less warm air gets in.
We price by configuration: body length, panel thickness, refrigeration unit model, doors and fittings. Leave a request or write on WhatsApp and we will send the calculation. COND does not publish prices for bodies.
From 14 working days once the configuration is confirmed. COND is a factory with its own WMI manufacturer code, so we issue the full set of conversion paperwork and the entry in the vehicle passport.
