Refrigerated body on a medium-duty JAC N120 chassis in the premium build. On the roof Carrier Supra 1050, and on the body wall there is a red Mennekes 380 V: when parked, the cold is held from mains power and the truck engine stays off. On the left the side opens along almost the whole length — two large hinged doors and a chequered aluminium sill, so a pallet goes in from the side with a forklift instead of driving round to the rear. Inside it is white fibreglass, with a chequered aluminium floor and kick strip. Panel 100 mm, hinged rear doors with a folding ladder.
The JAC N120 is a Chinese medium-duty truck with an ISF3.8 diesel and a payload of 7,690 kg. In this build it is chosen for pharma and food with a strict temperature regime: the unit copes with the large volume, mains standby removes the problem of leaving cargo overnight, and the side opening saves time at every stop.

The project is based on a JAC N120 (JAC Motors, China) chassis. The engine is ISF3.8S5168 diesel, 3.7 l, 166 hp, Euro 5. Gross weight 11,980 kg, so the driver needs a category C licence.
Body type — refrigerated body, sandwich panel.
The interior lining is white fibreglass, chequered aluminium kick strip and floor. Doors: full-width rear swing doors with rod locks.
The refrigeration unit is Carrier Supra 1050, roof-mounted above the cab. Fitted equipment: reflective contour tape, rear bar.
The interior lining is FRP: a continuous surface with no joints or rivets for dirt to catch on. This is the premium build, chosen for food, pharmaceuticals and flowers.
A body with a refrigeration unit carries anything perishable: meat and fish, dairy, ready meals, flowers, medicines. The unit holds the set temperature while parked too, so the truck also suits distribution runs with long stops.
This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.
We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.
If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: Chevrolet Labo, DongFeng C31, FAW 1027, GAZelle Business 3302. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.
