How this body is built

The body is built on a HINO 300 chassis. The engine is turbo diesel, 4 L, 165 hp.

This is a eutectic — a body with deep-freezing down to −40 °C; externally the body is 6,200 mm.

Operating range: −33 °C (eutectic plates).

What is in the photos

  • The left side with five loading hatches
  • Rear three-quarter view with the doors open and the ladder down
  • Front 3/4 by the workshop COND
  • An open side hatch and the section door
  • The rear doors with latches and handles in close-up
  • The folding ladder and rear overhang
  • The lower side with the side guard and wheel
  • The eutectic unit machinery under the body

Who it suits

A eutectic body charges from the mains overnight and holds sub-zero all day with the engine off — the classic ice-cream truck and city distribution of deep-frozen goods.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: GAZelle Business, Hyundai HD78, JAC N56. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.

FAQ

FAQ about the Hino 300 (6.2 m) ice-cream van

A eutectic body has no compressor running on the route. Inside there are cold-accumulator plates: they freeze overnight from a socket and give the cold back during the day, holding −33 °C. The truck spends no fuel on cold, makes no noise at the stops and does not defrost at every one of them.
A full overnight charge of the plates lasts a working shift of urban delivery with a normal number of openings. The exact time depends on the outside temperature, the load and how often the hatches are opened — we calculate it for your route.
A 6,200 mm body — the longest in our ice-cream range, with rear swing doors and a folding ladder. Hino 300 chassis: 165 hp, category C, 5-tonne payload. There is a short version too — 4,200 mm.
From a 380 V mains supply while parked, over 8–10 hours. During the day the truck runs without a compressor: the plates give back the cold they stored. A socket is needed where the truck spends the night — that is the only infrastructure requirement.
A hatch is opened for seconds and only over the section needed. Cold air is heavy and stays in the body, and the seller never climbs inside. On a round with a couple of dozen stops that saves both time and cold.
We price by configuration: body length, number of hatches, panel thickness, plate set. Leave a request or write on WhatsApp and we will send the calculation. COND does not publish prices for bodies.
COND is a factory with its own WMI manufacturer code, so we issue the full set of conversion paperwork and the entry in the vehicle passport.
