An isothermal body on the long-wheelbase diesel GAZelle Next. The 4,200 × 2,200 × 2,400 mm body uses a 100 mm sandwich panel and holds 17.6 m³ — six europallets in a single tier. There is no refrigeration unit: the panel slows heat exchange with the outside, so pre-chilled cargo arrives at almost the same temperature. Six europallets in a single tier: two rows of three, each pallet standing lengthwise along the body. Eight will not fit — with 2,000 mm of internal width there is no room for a second row in the other orientation. Usable volume 17.6 m³.
The panel works without a unit: it slows heat exchange with the outside. The thicker it is, the slower chilled cargo warms in summer and cools in winter. 100 mm is the same thickness a refrigerated body uses, so a unit can be added later without rebuilding.
