An insulated van on a light home-market chassis — the case where chilled goods travel not down the highway but through villages, building sites and dirt roads. The body is 3.2 m long and the wall is a 100 mm sandwich panel: that thickness normally goes under a refrigeration unit, and here it works as a thermos, holding the temperature of already-chilled cargo for the whole route. Inside the body is lined with galvanised steel sheet — it can be hosed down and takes a hit from a pallet corner without complaint; the floor is plywood. At the back are hinged doors with cam-bar locks and a folding step below the sill. Gross weight stays within 3,500 kg — category B, an ordinary licence.
The chassis here is a UAZ Profi — the badge is visible on the cab door. Such vans are also searched for as UAZ Cargo, and we build the body on either version.
