A large isothermal body on a Foton 5163 — an Auman ETX, as the badge on the grille shows. The 7,500 × 2,550 × 2,500 mm body uses a 100 mm sandwich panel and holds 39.1 m³ — fifteen europallets in a single tier. Premium trim: smooth light lining with no ribs or rivets, a ribbed aluminium border along the bottom of the walls, ceiling lights and a rear portal in ribbed aluminium. There is no refrigeration unit — the body slows heat exchange and can take one later: the 100 mm panel is rated for sub-zero work too. Category C.

More about the design on the page insulated vans.
The project is based on a Foton Auman ETX, chassis index 5163 chassis.
This is a insulated body, sandwich panel; externally the body is 7,500 × 2,550 × 2,500 mm. That leaves 7,292 × 2,342 × 2,292 mm, 100 mm panel inside: the panel thickness is subtracted on every side, floor and ceiling included. Usable volume is 39.1 m³, counted from the internal dimensions rather than by multiplying the external ones. In a single tier that is 15 europallets.
The interior lining is a smooth light panel with no ribs or rivets; a ribbed aluminium border along the bottom of the walls. Doors: hinged rear; the sill and the bottom of the doors in ribbed aluminium.
The refrigeration unit is none — the body is prepared for a unit. Fitted equipment: side underrun protection, a rear bar and mudflaps.
An isothermal body does not produce cold — it slows heat exchange with the outside. Such a van is chosen for short runs and for cargo loaded already chilled: bread, confectionery, drinks, groceries. Usable volume here is 39.1 m³ — the block above estimates the load in pallets.
This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.
We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.
If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: FAW 1027 (T80), GAZelle Next A21R32, GAZon NEXT, Hino 500 (GD 1226). They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.
A standard 1,200 × 800 mm europallet, single tier, no restacking. Internal dimensions with a 50 mm laying allowance — a pallet will not go in dead tight.
Inside 7 292 × 2 342 × 2 292 mm · 39.1 m³
The layout scheme is on the right: it shows how the rows sit and how much room is left.
