A dry freight van built for loading without a ramp. It has no rear swing doors: the opening is closed by a lifting shutter, and below sits a Dhollandia tail lift — the platform lowers to the ground, cargo is rolled on with a pallet truck and raised into the body. The tail lift plate states a 1,000 kg limit. A side door is cut into the right-hand wall: small items go in through it without opening the rear. FAQ about the HINO 300 van with a tail lift

You have a ramp at your own warehouse; the delivery point usually does not. The truck carries its tail lift with it: the platform lowers to the tarmac, cargo is rolled on with a pallet truck and lifted into the body. The driver unloads alone — no loaders, no forklift waiting at the door.

The Dhollandia rating plate states a limit of 1,000 kg. The plate is visible in the photo of the mechanism — we deliberately left it in frame. The limit assumes an evenly distributed load: the further the pallet stands from the body, the smaller the margin.

Swing doors open outwards and foul the raised tail lift platform. So the rear opening is closed by a single shutter that lifts upwards: the platform works across the full width of the body and hits nothing.

No. The mechanism mounts to the frame and the rear opening, so the body above it can be anything — insulated, a reefer, a curtain-side. The only difference is how the rear opening is arranged and how much room is left under the body floor.
