This chassis is not currently supplied to Kazakhstan. Hino is not imported into the country, so we cannot repeat this project on that chassis. We fit the same body to chassis that are available — we will pick an equivalent for your load.

A dry-freight body with a Dhollandia tail lift rated at 1,000 kg. The rear opening is closed by a lift-up shutter, there are no swing doors. The side door is on the right-hand side. Loading from ground level, no ramp required.

More about the design on the page dry-freight bodies.

How this body is built

The body is built on a HINO 300, model 817 chassis.

Body type — dry-freight (non-insulated) body.

The interior lining is galvanised sheet — walls and ceiling.

Fitted equipment: reflective corner markers around the perimeter, mudflaps, side underrun protection.

Why it is built this way

Walls and ceiling are lined with galvanised sheet — the factory standard for a van body: it shrugs off moisture, takes a pallet-corner knock and is replaced in sections rather than whole panels.

Who it suits

A dry van is about volume and protection rather than temperature: furniture, appliances, building materials, boxed goods, removals. The cargo is shut away from rain, dust and prying eyes.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: Foton Aumark (4.2 m), GAZelle Business 3302, Iveco Daily 50C15, JAC N120. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.

FAQ

FAQ about the HINO 300 van with a tail lift

You have a ramp at your own warehouse; the delivery point usually does not. The truck carries its tail lift with it: the platform lowers to the tarmac, cargo is rolled on with a pallet truck and lifted into the body. The driver unloads alone — no loaders, no forklift waiting at the door.
The capacity on the Dhollandia factory plate is 1,000 kg. The plate is visible in the photograph of the mechanism. The capacity is quoted for an evenly distributed load: the further the pallet stands from the body, the less margin remains.
Swing doors open outwards and foul the raised tail lift platform. So the rear opening is closed by a single shutter that lifts upwards: the platform works across the full width of the body and hits nothing.
No. The mechanism mounts to the frame and the rear opening, so the body above it can be anything — insulated, a reefer, a curtain-side. The only difference is how the rear opening is arranged and how much room is left under the body floor.
Yes. The HINO 300 exceeds 3,500 kg gross, which means category C. If you need a van drivable on category B, see the light-chassis projects in the “Vehicles” section.
