We install refrigeration units on the GAZelle Next, GAZelle Business and GAZon Next in Almaty: Carrier, Elinge and Kaida — selected to match the body volume and cargo. We turn a GAZelle into a refrigerated van on a turnkey basis: if required we build an isothermal body, fit the unit, charge it with refrigerant and arrange the updated entry in the vehicle registration certificate. Lead time 5–7 days; the GAZ warranty is retained.

The model is selected according to body volume and temperature range. For a standard GAZelle (3.2 m body, ~10–11 m³) and an extended one (4.2 m, ~14–16 m³), compact units are suitable: Carrier Citimax 280/350/500 engine-driven, Elinge — built-in units, Kaida (Yide) — budget 12/24 V models. For chilling (0…+5 °C) an entry-level unit is enough; for freezing (−18…−20 °C), allowing for Kazakhstan's +40 °C heat, you need a unit with a power margin and a body with 80–100 mm panels. We will select the exact model for your cargo — price your body in the configurator and send us the volume.
Work sequence: 1) checking the body for air-tightness and thermal insulation (active refrigeration requires an isothermal body made of sandwich panels; an ordinary dry-freight box will not do); 2) mounting the condenser on the roof or front wall and the evaporator inside the body; 3) routing the refrigerant lines and fitting the compressor to the engine or a separate drive; 4) charging with refrigerant, commissioning and verifying that the set temperature is reached; 5) preparing the documents for amending the entry in the vehicle registration certificate. Installation time — 5–7 working days depending on the engine model and the unit.
After a GAZelle is converted into a refrigerated van, the design change must be registered — in Kazakhstan this means amending the entry in the vehicle registration certificate (the equivalent of GIBDD registration in Russia). We prepare a full set of documents for the installed superstructure and refrigeration equipment so that the vehicle can be registered without any problems.
We install refrigeration equipment on new and used GAZelles: the GAZelle 3302 and Business, GAZelle Next (including the extended A21R33) and GAZon Next. On new vehicles the GAZ factory warranty is retained — COND is an official body installer. Be careful with used units: a unit taken off another vehicle often comes without a warranty, with a worn-out compressor and sized for a different body volume — the saving at the start turns into repairs and a shortage of cooling in summer. We fit new equipment with a warranty and servicing.
