How this body is built

Operating range: down to −33 °C (eutectic plates).

Why it is built this way

A side door changes distribution logistics: at each stop you open it rather than the whole rear portal — less cold escapes and the truck can park tight against its neighbour.

Who it suits

A eutectic body charges from the mains overnight and holds sub-zero all day with the engine off — the classic ice-cream truck and city distribution of deep-frozen goods.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body was built on a Hyundai Mighty EX6 and is repeated on the QT500. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

FAQ

FAQ — ice cream truck on a Hyundai QT500

The cold comes from eutectic plates charged at the depot from 380 V mains. On the road no compressor runs; down to −33 °C is held by stored cold. A reefer cools the body with a running unit driven by the engine.
Each door opens its own section. Goods are handed out at each stop without opening the whole body; the other sections stay closed and keep the cold.
Under the body. The unit takes no cargo space and does not add height.
Category C: the Hyundai QT500 has a GVW of 5,000 kg.
The QT500 replaced the Mighty EX6. The body, doors and refrigeration equipment on the QT500 are the same as on the completed EX6 vehicle.
