A curtain-side on the JAC N120 is the compromise that covers most supply work: the load is protected from rain and dust yet can be loaded from any side and from above. A frame with a sliding tarpaulin goes onto a 6.2 m flatbed, and the chassis payload is 7,690 kg. Slide the curtain and a forklift comes in along the whole side, with no need to work from the rear.

More about the design on the page tilt and curtain-side bodies.
A curtain-side (tilt) on a JAC N120 is chosen when a van is more than you need but an open platform does not protect the load. Packaged furniture, appliances, building materials, profile and pipe, groupage — anything that fears rain but needs neither cold nor an airtight body.
A 7,690 kg payload and a 6.2 m deck — eight Euro pallets in a single row. A Cummins ISF3.8S5168 with 166 hp and 592 N·m from 1,300 rpm and air brakes with ABS: this truck is built for the highway, not just the city.
Tilt sliding, on a frame with cross members. Inside, wooden battens run along the sides: they hold the curtain’s shape and keep the load from rubbing the fabric. Tensioners along the bottom secure the sheet so it does not flap on the highway or wear through at the seams.
Loading works from three directions: slide the curtain and load along the whole side with a forklift; remove the cross members and load from above with a crane; open the rear swing doors and load from the back. A closed van cannot do that.
Aluminium side guards to safety requirements. On request: stanchions for pipe and profile, lashing rings and rails, a tail lift. If you do not need the curtain, we build the same body as an open flatbed platform, and the frame with the curtain can be added later.
