A curtain-side body on the Hino 500 eight-tonner. The curtains slide back along both sides in full: the truck opens along its whole length and loads by crane, forklift or from a dock — whichever suits the stop. Galvanised drop sides, a dropping rear board and a ladder at the back. Hino is not currently supplied to Kazakhstan, but we build the same body on chassis that are available.
| Body type | curtain-side body (eurotent) |

| Sides | galvanised drop sides |
| Frame | posts with crossbars and a sliding curtain system |
| Rear | hinged doors |
| Loading | from above, from both sides and from the rear |
| Production time | from 14 working days |
More about the design on the page tilt and curtain-side bodies.
Curtainsider is a platform with galvanised sides, a frame of posts and crossbars and a curtain that runs on rails. The curtain slides to the front or rear wall and the side opens completely — not one section at a time as with eyelet tarpaulins, but along its whole length.
The practical difference is simple. A van loads only from the rear. An ordinary tarpaulin has to be unlaced. A curtain slides clear in seconds and a forklift can reach the load from anywhere along the side. At a warehouse with a side dock, or on a yard with a crane, that saves a whole operation.
The sides are galvanised drop sides, so they do not get in the way when loading from above. At the rear there is a dropping board and a swing wall with a folding ladder beneath: you climb into the body without blocks. The frame is built from posts and crossbars and the roof is solid — the curtains work on the sides only, so the load stays dry even with a curtain open in the rain.
The Hino 500 GD is a Japanese eight-tonner, category C. Hino is not currently supplied to Kazakhstan, so we cannot repeat the project on this exact chassis. We build the same body on the JAC N120, KamAZ and other available chassis — chosen by deck length and axle load.
Our other projects in the “curtainsider” category. All body types are in the “Vehicles” section.
The vehicle is built on a Hino 500 (GD) chassis.
A tented body opens fully from the side, so a pallet is placed by forklift instead of being dragged in through the rear doors. Chosen for construction, wholesale distribution and oversized loads.
This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.
We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.
If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: DongFeng C120L, JAC N120. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.
