Beverage delivery body on a Foton Aumark chassis

Bottle carrier — a body for bottled drinks: instead of a single rear portal it has door openings along the sides, four on each side. The driver walks up to the section he needs, opens the leaf and takes a pallet or crates straight from the pavement — without stepping inside or shifting the rest of the load. On a route with twenty stops this is the main thing that sets a bottle carrier apart from an ordinary dry freight vanone: time spent at each stop drops several-fold. The leaves are side-hinged with rod locks; the rear wall is solid, so all access is from the sides. The body measures 5,300 × 2,500 × 2,200 mm and carries five-tier bottle racks along both sides, so the crates sit in their cells and do not slide around under acceleration or braking. Built at the COND plant in Almaty on a Foton Aumark chassis rated at 5 tonnes.

How this body is built

The project is based on a Foton Aumark chassis.

This is a beverage body with side loading; externally the body is 5,300 × 2,500 × 2,200 mm. That leaves 5,250 × 2,450 × 2,150 mm, 25 mm panel inside: the panel thickness is subtracted on every side, floor and ceiling included. Usable volume is ≈ 27.7 m³ (5,250 × 2,450 × 2,150 mm), counted from the internal dimensions rather than by multiplying the external ones.

Doors: hinged leaves, cam-bar locks.

Fitted equipment: rear underrun bar with reflective marking, side guards.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

If you are still choosing a chassis, we have the same body on other bases as well: GAZelle Business 3302, GAZ GAZelle Next, JAC N35, Kia Bongo K2500. They differ in payload, frame length and licence category.

How many pallets fit

A standard 1,200 × 800 mm europallet, single tier, no restacking. Internal dimensions with a 50 mm laying allowance — a pallet will not go in dead tight.

12europallets 1,200 × 800 mm

Inside 5 250 × 2 450 × 2 150 mm · 27,7 m³

The layout scheme is on the right: it shows how the rows sit and how much room is left.

FAQ

FAQ about the beverage delivery body

The loading layout. A dry-freight van has a single rear portal: to reach a pallet in the middle you have to take out everything behind it. A bottle carrier has openings along the sides — four on each side of this body. The driver opens the leaf he needs and takes the load straight from the pavement, without stepping inside or disturbing the rest.
The name comes from drinks, but the body suits any delivery in unit packaging where speed at the stop matters: water, beer, snacks, household chemicals, animal feed. The logic is the same — many stops per shift and a load handed over in parts.
Because all access is from the sides, and a solid rear wall is stiffer and has no seals to wear out. If a rear portal is needed we build one too — it is a design choice, not a limitation.
We work the length out from the chassis wheelbase and your delivery routine: how many openings you need and what leaf width suits your packaging. This truck has four openings per side, but two and three also happen — we calculate it from the wheelbase and the leaf width.
Any chassis suited by weight: Foton, JAC, Hino, GAZon. This project is built on a Foton Aumark. We match the chassis to the body length you need and to the weight of a full load.
Yes, it is also built as an insulated version with a sandwich panel, so drinks neither overheat in summer nor freeze in winter. That affects wall thickness and weight, so it is calculated together with the chassis.
