COND, a plant in Almaty (1 Kazybayev Street), builds refrigerated trucks on Foton: an insulated body to fit the Foton Aumark S35, S80 or S100 chassis and a refrigeration unit selected by body volume. On Foton, COND has already built dry freight vans, a bottle carrier, curtain-side bodies and an insulated van on the Foton Auman.

Thickness

What determines panel thickness

Thickness is worked out not from the type of body but from the temperature it has to hold and the heat outside.

FAQ

On the Foton Aumark S35 (gross weight 3,500 kg, category B) — a body from 4,000 mm, up to 8 pallets. On the S80 (8,500 kg) and S100 (10,000 kg) — medium-duty category C bodies. Body length is set by the free frame length behind the cab.

The model is selected by body volume and mode: up to 16 m³ at −20 °C — Elinge C3 or Carrier Citimax 350, up to 20 m³ — Elinge C4 or Carrier Citimax 500, up to 30 m³ — Elinge C5. The full table is on the refrigeration equipment installation page.

For chilling at 0…+6 °C, 50 mm is enough; for freezing at −18 °C — 80 mm; for freezing at +40 °C outside — 100 mm. The panel takes up its thickness on every side, including the floor and ceiling, so with 100 mm the usable volume is smaller.

Yes. The chassis is delivered to Almaty, the body is built to fit it and mounted on a subframe. The factory warranty on the chassis is retained; the design change is documented.

From 14 working days. The lead time depends on body volume, panel thickness and whether a refrigeration unit is fitted; the exact time is given on request.
