About the Mercedes-Benz chassis

Mercedes-Benz covers both ends of our range. The Sprinter is a light truck in category B: our insulated body on it is 5,200 × 2,250 × 2,400 mm with 22.6 m³ inside. The Actros is a long-haul tractor in category C: a 6,200 × 2,600 × 2,500 mm refrigerated body gives 36.6 m³.

An insulated body of 5,200 × 2,250 × 2,400 mm with a 100 mm panel: 5,000 × 2,050 × 2,200 mm is left inside, that is 22.6 m³. On our project a side door has been added to the rear doors — it is needed on a kerbside route.

A refrigerated body of 6,200 × 2,600 × 2,500 mm with 36.6 m³ inside. On our project an Elinge C5 refrigeration unit is fitted and the rear doors are hinged. The vehicle category is C.

By vehicle class and volume. The Sprinter is category B and 22.6 m³: urban and suburban delivery, driven on an ordinary licence. The Actros is category C and 36.6 m³: long-haul work, where volume and durability matter more than manoeuvrability.

Yes. The chassis is brought to Almaty, the body is built for it and mounted on a subframe. The chassis factory warranty stays intact and the change of design is documented.
