COND, a plant in Almaty (1 Kazybayev Street), builds freezer (eutectic) vans on GAZelle. On the GAZelle Business, ice-cream vans of 3.2 m (9.0 m³ inside, 3+3 sections) and 4.2 m (12.0 m³, 4+4 sections) have been built, with 120 / 140 mm panels, in a mode down to −33 °C.

On the GAZelle Business with a 2,900 mm wheelbase — a 3,200 × 2,000 × 2,000 mm body, 9.0 m³ inside and 3+3 sections; on the extended 3,500 mm wheelbase — 4,200 mm, 12.0 m³ and 4+4 sections. Both vehicles are category B.
A refrigerated truck chills the body on the road with a compressor. A eutectic van has its plates charged with cold in advance from a 380 V mains supply; during the trip they release cold without running a compressor — the temperature is steadier when the doors are opened often.
Fully freezing the plates from the mains takes about 8 hours, after which they hold cold for the whole working day of the delivery round. The cargo must arrive already frozen: the plates hold cold but do not freeze the goods.
Yes: the unit needs a three-phase 380 V supply at the overnight parking place; it will not start on 220 V. No power is needed during the trip.
