Bakery van on a GAZelle Business

category Bfour side doors per sidemade in Kazakhstan
⚖ payload 1,500 kg🚪 side loading

A batch of identical vehicles for bread and grocery rounds. Bakery van differs from an ordinary van in how it is loaded: four doors on each side instead of a single pair at the rear. The driver takes a tray from the right compartment at the stop itself, without climbing inside or shifting the others, and unloads from the pavement. On a round with 20–30 shops per shift that is the main source of time saved. The doors are clamped by lever latches, the rear ones are hinged. Reflective corner markers sit on the body corners.

How this body is built

The project is based on a GAZelle Business chassis. The engine is UMZ A275 petrol (Evotech 2.7), Euro-5. Gross weight 3,500 kg — a category B licence is enough.

Body type — bread van (grocery van), sandwich panel.

Fitted equipment: reflective corner markers on the body corners, an underrun bar, mudflaps.

What is in the photos

  • The whole vehicle, front-side view
  • The body side: four side doors with lever latches
  • A rear-side view, the hinged rear doors
  • Several vehicles of the batch in the plant yard
  • The batch bread van in a row in front of dispatch

Who it suits

A bread van is counted in trays, not pallets: inside are guides for the standard tray, and side hatches let goods be handed out without stepping into the body.

We will build the same — to your size and your chassis

This body is not a catalogue item but a project we actually built. We will make the same one to your dimensions: length, width and height are calculated for your cargo and the chassis payload, rather than fitting the cargo to a ready-made size.

We also fit it to your own chassis: bring the vehicle, we take the frame dimensions, build the body, mount it and hand it over with the conversion paperwork.

FAQ

FAQ about the GAZelle Business bread van

In how it is loaded. An ordinary van has one pair of doors at the rear, and to reach a tray in the middle you must climb in and move the others. A bread van has four doors on each side: every compartment opens separately, straight from the pavement. The body itself is the same — sandwich panel.
It depends on your trays and how the guides are set. We work it out at the order stage: the tray size and compartment height decide both the number of tiers and the trays per tier. Tell us the tray dimensions and we will calculate the capacity for your body.
Because on a round a shop can be on either side of the street. Doors on both sides mean the driver does not drive round the block for a convenient parking spot and does not step into traffic with a tray in hand. Over a shift with 20–30 stops that is tens of minutes saved.
A sandwich-panel body slows heating and cooling by itself, but there is no refrigeration unit here. Bread does not need one. If you carry dairy or chilled produce, look at isothermal van or reefer.
The customer ordered several identical vehicles at once — in the photo they stand in a row before dispatch. For a fleet that matters: the bodies are standard, so the hardware, seals and spare parts are the same on every vehicle, and repairing one is no different from repairing another.
The price depends on the number of compartments, the door layout and the interior fit-out. Leave a request or write on WhatsApp and we will send a quote for your chassis and your trays. COND does not publish prices for bodies.
COND is a factory with its own WMI manufacturer code, so we issue the full set of conversion paperwork and the entry in the vehicle passport.
